Yamaha FG800 Acoustic Guitar Black Friday Deals 2021

I’m doing a review of the Yamaha FG 800, which is my favourite beginner acoustic guitar for a couple of reasons. I’d like to discuss the price, action, and durability. It’s a great guitar, as you may know, I’m a guitar teacher as well as a session musician, but I do this full-time, and this is a guitar that I recommend to my beginners because it stays in tune and intonates properly, it sounds amazing, and it’s inexpensive.

Yamaha now provides the most bang for the buck. When it comes to low-cost guitars under $200, you get the most bang for your buck. In other words, for another $200, it’s not going to double. This is insanely good value, and it’s very simple to play.

Tones

It has a satin finish and a c neck that is very comfortable for players of all skill levels to notice. I can only articulate single notes. I get a cord notice, and it’s got a really nice sweet tone, and it’s from this solid body sick of spruce top, which is really important to get that snappy resonance.

It has mahogany sides and back, which gives it a warmer sound. This, combined with the snappy top, creates a nice balance. The tuners are also of high quality. I’ve seen tuners crumble and disintegrate over the years, but the ones that come from Yamaha stock are pretty darn good and you should expect them to last a couple of years of hard playing.

Setup

They usually come action setup with gauge strings ranging from 12 to 53, and it’s just super easy to play one of the things. The obvious thing I look for in an expensive guitar is the instrument’s durability, and the ability to initiate and stay in tune is a massively huge deal. In other words, if you go cheaper than this, that aspect of the guitar begins to deteriorate, as does its ability to stay in tune and incident properly when I say intonate properly.

Design

You could have it in tune and then go to the 12th fret and play up and it’s not in tune, so this intonation of being in tune at every single level of every fret is very important to me and it does that, and they come in a lot of cool colours. I have another Yamaha back there that is a 700 series from years ago. The way the number system works, I believe every year they increase the number to make it a higher number. Last year’s FG 800 was essentially the same guitar, but they called it the FG 700 or something, so I’m expecting them to do the same this year. Continue in this series, but anything on the FG series is what Yamaha is doing.

As I previously stated, you can’t go wrong with the value that Yamaha provides. I just want to play with this a little bit. It is beneficial to both children and adults, and it is especially beneficial to women. It’s good for men and there’s, and even as a pro, I have a Yamaha of this series.

Final Words

Do you get what I’m saying? It’s nice to have a better guitar so you can go to a friend’s house and it doesn’t sound like a beater; I’m telling you, it sounds good; I’ve got a full, rich resonance. I’m sure you can hear it play the major seven chord. It’s also a great used guitar if you can’t afford the new one. It holds up well and doesn’t break down as quickly as some of the lower-quality guitars on the market. If you’re a high-end player or a beginner, having a cheap Yamaha to play or throw in the back of your truck and go to the beach is ideal.
