Denon AVR-X4700H Black Friday Deal

Today, I have what I believe to be the best fully-featured receiver available – the Denon X4500H. It’s a nine-channel receiver capable of processing up to eleven channels of Dolby Atmos, allowing for configurations ranging from 5.2.4 to 7.2.4. I chose this receiver when I built my home theater a few years ago, purchasing its predecessor, the X 308, which has been fantastic.

I use it as my entire home audio system, and it includes a zoning tool for powering patio speakers outside. This receiver also comes with markers and labels for speaker wires, allowing you to easily identify all connections.
Monitoring Outputs:
The Denon X4500H features seven HDMI inputs for monitoring outputs and a dedicated HDMI output for a separate TV with a stereo system. This output not only carries the picture signal but also supports audio. Additionally, it provides pre-outs for connecting an external amplifier and a 12-volt trigger for synchronizing amplifier power with the receiver.
Connectivity
For legacy devices, you can use the binding posts to connect your speakers. Furthermore, it supports both coaxial and optical digital audio inputs. This nine-channel receiver is capable of delivering 125 watts per channel into two 8-ohm channels. It boasts DTS X and Dolby Atmos object-based surround sound decoding, IMAX Enhanced certification, and compatibility with major HDR standards, including HDR 10, Dolby Vision, and HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma).

Voice Assistance:
The Denon X4500H offers voice assistance through Alexa, Siri, and Google. It utilizes Audyssey MultEQ XT32 for room calibration. I recently installed this receiver, and it’s currently connected to my Outlaw Model 5000 amplifier, driving my Pioneer Elite Andruw Jones-designed speakers.
Final Thoughts
In summary, the Denon X4500H is a versatile AV receiver capable of handling various music genres, whether it’s jazz, rock, classical, or country. It comes equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi router and is compatible with Sonos, Apple AirPlay, and Google Cast. Notably, it offers HDMI inputs and outputs, as well as a USB port for connecting external devices like a hard drive.
