With its slim design, the MiniLab MkII Slim-Key Controller is perfect for people who are looking to travel with their favorite instrument. The MiniLab MkII is made of plastic and weighs only 1.1 pounds. It has a total of 88 keys, including 61 full-sized piano keys. The Arturia MiniLab MkII Slim-Key Controller has two USB ports and an iPad/Mac connection. It comes with a headphone jack and is compatible with iOS and macOS.

The MiniLab MkII is still the same great keyboard we loved so much, but with the addition of a couple of neat features. For starters, the new Analog Lab Lite software makes for an extremely versatile and powerful tool that expands upon the original MiniLab.

As the name suggests, Analog Lab Lite is basically a stripped-down version of Analog Lab that features a reduced number of preset sounds. But what’s really great about this is that you can use the included SoundFonts to load your own custom sounds instead of the presets, which gives you much greater freedom and control over the sounds you create.

Final Words:

Arturia MiniLab MkII 25 Slim-Key Controller is a really great little controller to bring with you on the road. It has the ability to connect with all of your favorite DAW and it is portable enough to take anywhere you go. I personally would prefer it over the older MiniLab MkI as it is more compact, has better ergonomics and it comes with a USB cable instead of the MIDI cables which are necessary with the older version. It is also cheaper than the old one and I feel like the price is still pretty good for a controller of this quality.
